Frederick Percy Harper
He was born in Rotherham 1891 and he was a house painter, living at 4 Warwick Street, Rotherham with his father Robert, mother Elizabeth, brother Sydney and sister Blanche.
He enlisted in Rotherham into 1st/5th battalion York and Lancaster regiment service number 240845. After landing in France 28 June 1915, he was killed in action 9 October 1917 aged 26.
He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial To The Missing.
